Anti-Mormon themes are a natural byproduct of musicians resisting the dominant religion in Utah. Like it or dislike it, it’s a part of Utah culture. 

LDS is about as overtly opposing as it gets. They’ve taken on the actual nick name of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as their banner. The cover features some heavy heretic imagery of an upside down cross with a crowd of punks nonchalantly gathered around.

The music found here is crude, sludgy punk rock with gnarling vocals, filled with doomy themes from youth who feel confined by The Church. Out of respect, i wont dissect the lyrics here but they are what you might expect from angsty mo-hawked teens.
