The Osmonds brought a lot of attention to Utah, and the small knit community of alternative Latter Day Saints. Although the Osmonds got most of it, there were many hard working musicians in the surrounding scene self releasing their own music. There was also lots of cross pollination of personnel from album to album.

Guy Randle spearheads this project but many will recognize Marvin Payne as one of those collaborators. You probably know him as the dad in the cult Mormon classic Saturday’s Warrior. It’s impossible to talk about Utah local releases without mentioning him.

This album is a very mellow affair that fits well into the music in this collection. Still widely available to purchase if you keep your eye out.
